Truth be told you can not spot reduce body fat.
Why Spot Reducing Fat Is Impossible. … While it would be nice if dropping the fat off specific body parts were possible, it is not. The theory behind spot reduction is that when you exercise a set of muscles, fat is lost in that area. For example, if you perform abdominal exercises, you‘ll drop stomach fat.
How easy would that make my life as a Personal Trainer if this was the case.
So…The short answer is no. Targeted fat loss, often referred to as spot reduction, is not possible and there’s no solid scientific evidence to suggest that you can burn fat on specific areas of your body.
The best way to reduce body fat is to look at your nutrition so that you are able to create a calorie deficit. Once this is accomplished I would move on to laying out your training plan. There are millions of ways to drop body fat using exercise.
You would hear a lot of I’ve the best way ect ect. Lets be honest who really cares who has the best way. Find a way that suits you and stick to it.
Personally I like working in density time blocks of 10 minutes wether its an AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) or 30 seconds rest 30 seconds recovery for 1o minute. This will all depend on what level of fitness you are at.
So just to summarise.
You most certainly cannot spot reduce body fat , It would be great if you could.
Create a calorie deficit and draw up a training plan.
